Popular TV chef Jamie Oliver led a campaign to improve nutrition in schools, and his new aim now includes the entire nation.
A diet plan that will provide us to live to a hundred years! Jamie has traveled around the world and compiled a list of 14 “magic” foods, such as fish and eggs, which should be included in everyone’s kitchen.
In his TV show, Jamie discovered tricks for longer life as well as reducing the portion of meat to two a week, and consuming most of the daily calories in the first half of the day.
He says the result of a good diet is longevity and its better quality.
Jamie traveled to Costa Rica, Okinawa in Japan and the Greek island of Icarus, which are famous for a very healthy diet.
At these destinations, people live longer than in other parts of the world, and the number of patients suffering from cancer and heart disease is much lower.
In his program, the famous chef has revealed that the trick is not in exotic ingredients such as Goji berries, but to cook simple ingredients in a clever way.
In addition to the 14 super foods such as tofu, black beans, sweet potatoes and chili pepper, Oliver discovered some eating habits of people living in the places that he visited.
They limit the portions of meat on 2 or 3 a week, and the breakfast is always a lot more abundant than the dinner.
